KI0100 - Inserting 01/01/2008 row for Tax Form ID W-2 in the Tax Form Definition Table PRIOR to Release 3.35 scheduled for December 15, 2008 SUBJECT: Inserting a 01/01/2008 row for Tax Form ID W-2 in the Tax Form Definition Table prior to Release 3.35 (12/15/08) PURPOSE: To request payroll users to insert a 01/01/2008 row for Tax Form ID W-2 in the Tax Form Definition Table prior to the application of PeopleSoft HRMS Release 3.35 which is scheduled for December 15, 2008. FUNCTIONAL IMPACT: PeopleSoft Tax Updates 08D and 08E require that a 01/01/2008 row for Tax Form ID W-2 be present in the Tax Form Definition Table at the time of application of the update. If the 01/01/2008 row does not already exist in the database, please follow the instructions below to insert the 01/01/2008 row. 1. Go to North American Payroll>Annual Processing>Define Annual Tax Reporting>Tax Form Definitions. Tax Form Identification = W-2. Click Search. 2. If a 01/01/2008 row appears in the search results, then the row already exists and no further action is required. 3. If there is no 01/01/2008 row, select the 01/01/2007 row from the search results. Insert a row in the Effective Date group box. The Effective Date of the new row will default to the system date. Change the system date to 01/01/2008. Save the page.
