Followup to KI0098 - SUM Paygroup Creating negative amounts in TRS Monthly Reporting for August Please distribute the following as needed. Action is required for this follow-up information. Note: Audience for this announcement is Payroll users and employees responsible for the Monthly TRS File submissions. FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION: The monthly deadline for TRS File submission has been extended to Monday, September 15, 2008. Users may proceed with the monthly TRS processing as usual. The GeorgiaFIRST HRMS group has identified the solution with regards to the SUM Paygroup creating negative amounts and erroneous data reporting for the SUM earnings in the TRS Monthly Reporting File for August. The modification to the Populate TRS/ORP Temp Table (BORIF04A) has been delivered in Interim Release 3.33b. The original Known Issue is shown below: Please distribute the following as needed. Action is required. KI0098 - SUM Paygroup Creating negative amounts in TRS Monthly Reporting for August SUBJECT: June and/or July SUM Earnings are being included in (BORIF04D) Create TRS/ORP File in error resulting in negative amounts being reported. PURPOSE: Please to not submit the August TRS File until further notice, if you have already submitted your report please notify TRS. Problems have been identified with the (BORIF04D) Create TRS/ORP File process for employees that received SUM earnings during June and/or July and received REG Earnings for August. These amounts appear to be correct on the (BORIF04F) TRS/ORP Report, however, when (BORIF04D) Create TRS/ORP File process is run, erroneous data for the SUM earnings are included resulting in negative amounts. FUNCTIONAL IMPACT: Plesae not submit the August TRS File until further notice, if you have already submitted your report please notify TRS. A deadline extension has been requested.
