KI0090 - 1/1/08 Job Data Rows with pay increases and 12/29/07-12/31/07 Holiday pay SUBJECT: Pay Rates for 12/29/07 – 12/31/07 Holiday pay will default to the pay rate effective 1/1/08. PURPOSE: To alert payroll users of possible overpayment due to posting of total HOL hours entered in Time Entry. BACKGROUND: The Bi-weekly Time Entry page contains data for the two weeks specified in the pay cycle. For the 2nd bi-weekly of January, the two weeks are 12/29/07 – 1/4/08 and 1/5/08 – 1/11/08. HOL time cannot be tied to a specific date i.e.; 12/29/07-12/31/07 or 1/1/08, in Time Entry, therefore, when BORM02ED (Time Entry Pay Edit) is run the system will assign the pay rate from the 1/1/08 Job Data row to the holiday pay. FUNCTIONAL IMPACT: When PSPPYBLD (Paysheet Creation) is run three paylines will be created 12/29/07 – 12/31/07, 1/1/08 – 1/4/08 and 1/5/08 – 1/11/08. To pay HOL time with the correct rates users must adjust the payline ending 12/31/07 and the payline ending 1/4/08 to the specified holiday time for the employee. |
