Please distribute the following as needed. Action may be required. KI0089: Availability of 2007 YTD Balances on Self Service Paycheck. SUBJECT: The PS HRMS Self Service Paycheck only contains YTD balances for the most current paycheck so that an employee's 2007 YTD balances will only be available on the last 2007 paycheck until the employee's first 2008 paycheck has been confirmed. PURPOSE: To remind institutions that 2007 YTD balances on the Self Service paycheck are only available until the employee's first 2008 paycheck is confirmed in the event that they want to send a reminder to their employees. BACKGROUND: As many of you are already aware, the PS HRMS Self Service Paycheck only contains YTD balances for the most current paycheck. As a result, an employee's 2007 YTD balances shown on his/her last 2007 paycheck will only be available until the employee's first 2008 paycheck has been confirmed. Institutions may want to inform employees that their 2007 YTD balances will only be available for a limited time in the event that the employee would like to print his/her paycheck to keep a record of 2007 YTD balances in advance of receiving the W2.
