KI0085 - Inserting 01/01/2007 row for Tax Form ID W-2 in the Tax Form Definition Table PRIOR to Release 3.28 scheduled for December 3, 2007 SUBJECT: Inserting a 01/01/2007 row for Tax Form ID W-2 in the Tax Form Definition Table prior to Release 3.28 (12/03/07) PURPOSE: To request payroll users to insert a 01/01/2007 row for Tax Form ID W-2 in the Tax Form Definition Table prior to the application of PeopleSoft HRMS Release 3.28 which is scheduled for December 3, 2007. FUNCTIONAL IMPACT: PeopleSoft Tax Updates 07D and 07E require that a 01/01/2007 row for Tax Form ID W-2 be present in the Tax Form Definition Table at the time of application of the update. If the 01/01/2007 row does not already exist in the database, please follow the instructions below to insert the 01/01/2007 row. 1. Go to North American Payroll>Annual Processing>Define Annual Tax Reporting>Tax Form Definitions. Tax Form Identification = W-2. Click Search. 2. If a 01/01/2007 row appears in the search results, then the row already exists and no further action is required. 3. If there is no 01/01/2007 row, select the 01/01/2006 row from the search results. Insert a row in the Effective Date group box. The Effective Date of the new row will default to the system date. Change the system date to 01/01/2007. Save the page.
