Please distribute the following as needed. Action is required. SUBJECT: State Charitable Contributions office requests that the Charitable Contributions Pledge Card file be submitted by August 31, 2007 PURPOSE: To enable State Charitable Contributions to provide a personalized pledge card for employees. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: GeorgiaFIRST Model Charitable Contributions Pledge Card File should be forwarded to Angela Ballard by August 31, 2007. This file is the output of the Charitable Contributions Interface. Instructions for running the process and preparing the file for submission are as follows: Go to Board of Regents > BOR Benefits >Providers > Charitable Contributions. Run the program the same as any standard SQR. Once the process is complete, navigate to the Process Monitor and download/save the flat file by clicking on the "charcontXXX.txt" link under View Log/Trace. Select "File">"Save As" from the menu. Select "Text File" as the File Type (if not already selected). Navigate to the folder in which you wish to save and transmit the file, and click Save. Prior to submission, delete any 'C' (COBRA) records from the file by opening the file, and deleting the entire row in which the emplID begins with 'C'; then save the text file again. These records are found at the bottom of the file (if your institution has any COBRA participants with 'C' records). E-mail the file as an attachment directly to Angela Ballard via e-mail at aballard@gms.state.ga.us. Be sure to include your institutional name in the e-mail "Subject:" line; i.e., Subject: Great State College - CCP2005 file. Note: Remember to verify that the file has a ".txt" extension prior to submitting to Angela Ballard, otherwise e-mail systems may block the message.
