Please distribute the following as needed. Action is required. KI0061 – Request for TRS Locator Code File SUBJECT: TRS Memo dated 6/23/06 requesting TRS Locator Code File by July 31, 2006. TRS requests that the TRS Locator Code file be submitted by July 31, 2006. Business Process RPT306 - TRS Locator Code File is updated to include the latest instructions from TRS and is posted to the HRMS web site. PURPOSE: TRS prepares an annual member statement for each member and delivers them to the institution for distribution in mid October. In an effort to make distribution of the statement to the proper location easier, TRS encourages the use of 'locator codes' to identify the specific location where each employee works. The statements are sequenced first by the locator code and then by the member's name. FUNCTIONAL IMPACT: If TRS does not receive the locator file for your institution by July 31, 2006, TRS will sequence the statements by member name only.
