KI0059 – Additional Information Concerning Foundation Table Changes/Additions - FY06.04 SUBJECT: Completion of the TRS Reporting Process prior to changing TRS Rates effective 06/24/06 PURPOSE: To notify users that the rate change should not be made until the TRS Reporting Process is complete. FUNCTIONAL IMPACT: The Foundation Table update FY06.04 instructed users to refrain from inserting the new effective row until all payrolls for June had been completed. To further clarify this point the TRS Reporting Process must also be completed prior to this change. If this row is inserted before the TRS Reporting Process is complete the Trace File for the BORIF04F "TRS/ORP Participants" will show the following error for all employees; "an employee or an employer deduction that does not equal (Gross Amt * TRS/ORP employee or employer contribution rate). These employees are not included in the extract file." If you have already inserted the row and still need to complete the TRS Reporting Process, delete the row and reinsert after the process is complete.
