PeopleSoft HRMS Known Issues and Information – 04/05/06 Please distribute the following as needed. Action may be required. KI0057 - Adjustment on TRS/ORP Temp Table Errors when Posting Month has less than 31 Days We have identified a bug in the PeopleCode behind the Edit TRS/ORP Temp Table page that will not allow an adjustment to be made for a posting month other than a month that contains 31 days. If the Posting Month contains less than 31 days, the following error message appears when attempting to save the page: "Invalid date in function DateValue. (180,113) At TRS_CONTRIB_BOR.SERV_CR_ELIG_BOR. SaveEdit PCPC:287 Statement:5 The date specified in the built-in function call is invalid. Review the program for errors. If necessary, run a PeopleCode trace to determine the program that failed." A fix to the PeopleCode behind this page is currently being tested and will be included in Release 3.18 scheduled for June 15, 2006. The temporary workaround to assure that the correct Posting Month is included in the interface to TRS is to: Insert the row for the adjustment on the TRS/ORP Temp Table with a Posting Month = January, March, May, July, August, October, or December Create the trs file (BORIF04D) Save the file to the normal directory. Rename to 2006MMXXXX.trs Open the file (2006MMXXXX.trs) in Notepad and edit the posting month of the adjustment row for the employee to reflect the actual posting month. The posting month is in Positions 7-8 in the file (following the year) in YYYYMM format Save the file If you need any assistance in editing the file, please call the OIIT HelpDesk.
