KI0032 - W-2 will not print employee suffix from Suffix field

If the suffix of an employee's name is populated in the Suffix field on the Names page in Personal Information, the suffix will not print on the employee's W-2. The suffix will print only if it has been included in the last name field. To correct the employee's W-2 without having to run the Year End Data Record Load process again, go to North American Payroll>Annual Processing>Year End Forms & W2 Adjustment>Update Year End Forms. Delete the suffix from the Suffix field and append to the last name. To make a permanent correction so that the name suffix appears correctly for subsequent Year End Data Record Load processing for CY2004 and for BOR programs that do not use the Suffix field, go to Workforce Administration>Personal Information>Biographical>Update Personal Information>Names. Insert a row with an effective date prior to 12/31/2004. Delete the suffix from the Suffix field and append to the last name. The YE_DATA table may be queried to discover if any Suffix fields are populated.
