PeopleSoft HRMS Known Issues and Information – 11/28/05 Please distribute the following as needed: KI0044 – Insertion of 01/01/2005 row into the Tax Form Definition Table PeopleSoft Tax Update 05-E, scheduled for release at 7 a.m. 12/1/05, requires that an 01/01/2005 row for Tax Form ID W-2 be present in the Tax Form Definition Table at the time of application of the update. If the 01/01/2005 row does not already exist in the database, please follow the instructions below to insert the 01/01/2005 row. NOTE: This row must be inserted prior to 6 p.m. on 11/30/05. Go to North American Payroll>Annual Processing>Define Annual Tax Reporting>Tax Form Definitions. Tax Form Identification = W-2. Click Search. If an 01/01/2005 row appears in the search results, then the row already exists and no further action is required. If there is no 01/01/2005 row, select the 01/01/2004 row from the search results. Insert a row in the Effective Date group box. The Effective Date of the new row will default to the system date. Change the system date to 01/01/2005. Save the page.
