Introduction to RTK Basic Awareness Training
Welcome to the "Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia (USG) Environmental Affairs/Right-to-Know" world-wide-web (www) on-line training program. The Georgia legislature passed the "Public Employee Hazardous Chemical Protection and Right to Know Act of 1988 (O.C.G.A 45-22-2)" for the control of unsafe use of hazardous chemicals in the workplace. Because of this law and because the Board of Regents recognizes the need to address employee safety we have created this program to enhance our training efforts.
This on-line training program is designed to educate USG employees on the importance and benefits of properly recognizing and safely working with hazardous materials. Ultimately, our aim is to continue heightening employee safety awareness at all USG institutions, as well as complying with the "Public Employee Hazardous Chemical Protection and Right to Know Act of 1988".

University System of Georgia employees may print a certificate of completion for this training program by submitting a simple online form at the end of the program. Although submission of this form is voluntary, some institutions use this information to verify that employees have completed the online training.
Certificates of Completion are NOT provided for persons not affiliated with the University System of Georgia.
