About Real Estate
All real estate of the University System of Georgia is owned by and titled to the Board of Regents. Real Estate and Facilities’ staff process all leases and contracts for sale or purchase of real estate on behalf of the Board. We also develop and maintain due diligence guidelines for leases of private real estate, use by others of Regents’ real estate, sale, purchase, or gift of real estate, easements, and facility demolitions. These guidelines include required information that a campus must have, or steps the campus must have completed, before any such action will be taken by the Committee and the Board.
