Consultant Selection Cohorts

Print friendly Modified September 19, 2012

A cohort is a grouping of projects whereby solicitations for professional consulting services are being requested. Projects included in a cohort may be compiled based on similar project types, project schedules, funding amounts, funding sources and availability of funding. A firm can submit proposals for any and all projects listed within a specific cohort, however the firm will not be considered for more than one commission within the cohort.

It is the intent for the Owner to select the project consultants in order of magnitude of funding for the projects. Receiving a commission for a project within a specific cohort does not preclude the firm from applying for and/or receiving a commission for a project within another cohort, although workload does factor into the evaluation process for the selection of a firm to provide professional services.
