Partnerships – Employers & Colleges

When talent isn’t available through traditional avenues, the USG can broker partnerships between faculty and employers to help meet employers’ needs for college-educated talent in high demand but low supply.

Economic Development has connections with faculty in all disciplines. We understand the internal organization on campus, and how to connect with it.

Examples of Talent Development Partnerships:

Professional Development

Georgia Tech Distance Learning and Professional Education

USG institutions offer statewide professional development through Continuing Education.

Certificates and Career Education
You can find dozens of certificate and other career education programs from the institutions of the University System of Georgia.

Corporate training
Companies often contract with Continuing Education for customized employee training – online, on-campus, or on-the-job – and to solve business problems. USG has directed more than 1,000 corporate contracts so far.

Conferences & meetings
Continuing Education has hosted more than 6,000 events on campuses for more than 350,000 people.

Contact the Continuing Education office in your area.
