Multicultural Curriculum Transformation Institute (MCTI). Every other summer (the odd years- i.e. 2009, 2011) the CMCTI organizes an institute on the NIU campus. The institute is designed to facilitate discussion about multicultural issues and provide tenured and tenure-track faculty, instructors and teaching supportive professional staff support for incorporating multicultural perspectives and content into their teaching.
