After Hours Support Information
The Office of Information and Instructional Technology Helpdesk business hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Exceptions are announced, Board of Regents holidays.
Emergency, production down after-hours support is available outside business hours. To request after-hours emergency service, call the OIIT Helpdesk at 706-583-2001, or 1-888-875-3697 (toll free within Georgia). Leave an emergency message to automatically page on-call support staff. Instructions for leaving an emergency page are provided within the OIIT Helpdesk Call Center menu system.
Note: If you call the OIIT Helpdesk (1-888-875-3697 or 706-583-2001) after hours in regards to a production down, emergency case, and you encounter a problem reaching the OIIT Helpdesk Call Center main menu, or with Call Center menu options or features, call 1-888-755-4791 and leave (through the numeric-message feature) a 10-digit telephone number where you can be reached.
If non-emergency support is needed outside business hours (i.e., after-hours, evening, or weekend), after-hours support must be scheduled at lease two weeks in advance. The request can be submitted by web (http://www.usg.edu/customer_services), e-mail (Helpdesk@usg.edu), or telephone (706-583-2001, 1-888-875-3697).
