Strategic Planning Subcommittee Charter
Name
The name of the committee is to be the ACIT Strategic Planning Subcommittee.
Mission
The primary mission of the ACIT Strategic Planning Subcommittee will be to advise and assist the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Information/Instructional Technology (OVCIIT) in developing uniform and effective strategic planning methodologies applicable to information technology activities within University System institutions.
Functional Responsibilities
Specific functions which the subcommittee will carry out will include:
- assisting the OVCIIT in articulating strategic planning themes, goals and procedures for use by member institutions in pursuing campus information technology strategic planning practices.
- providing a forum through which common member institution strategic concerns and priorities in information technology can be evolved for consideration by the OVCIIT and other State offices.
- serving as a representative ACIT forum to advise the OVCIIT in responding to requests from other government agencies or offices for strategic planning information involving member institution information technology activities.
