Operations Subcommittee Charter
Name
The name of the subcommittee will be the ACIT Operations Subcommittee.
Mission
The primary mission of the ACIT Operations Subcommittee is to provide advice and consultation to the Vice Chancellor for Information and Instructional Technology and his or her designated staff on issues related to computer operations within the University System of Georgia.
Scope
The advisory function performed by the subcommittee will primarily take the form of developing and reviewing proposed guidelines and recommendations on University System computer operations.
Functional Responsibilities
The subcommittee is charged with carrying out the following functions:
- Assist the Office of the Vice Chancellor in developing guidelines and recommendations for computer operations within the University System.
- Periodically review and update, if necessary, established guidelines and recommendations.
