Executive Committee
Role of the Executive Committee
The primary role of the ACIT Executive Committee is to support the ACIT chair and chair elect in advising the University System CIO. In carrying out this role, the Executive Committee has responsibilities that are formally and informally discharged.
Formal
- establishing the agenda for ACIT meetings
- proposing annual initiatives for the ACIT
- conducting the annual nomination and election process for ACIT officers
Informal
- communicating with ACIT members between meetings
- acting as liaisons with other USG groups such as the Chief Business Officers group
Membership of the Executive Committee
The Executive Committee members include the officers of the ACIT and past chairs. A past chair will remain on the Committee through a period of five years. Generally speaking, Executive Committee membership should represent a cross-section of types of campuses. In order to achieve this, other ACIT members will be designated for membership on the committee as necessary.
