Degree Programs
University System of Georgia colleges and universities offer over 100
programs, available from a variety of USG
Institutions, where at least 50 percent of a degree is available via
distance learning technologies [online, video conferencing (GSAMS), video
cassette, telecourse, satellite]. Includes collaborative eCore, WebMBA, & WebBSIT programs.
Programs generally follow a semester-based institution calendar.

Campus based and system-wide initiatives that offer distance education (via
online, telecourse, video conferencing (GSAMS), video cassette or CD-Rom)
programs and courses for special interests, work force needs, or to jump-start
a college career.

Searchable database of all distance education and online courses and programs offered by USG institutions.
- University
System of Georgia Independent and Distance Learning
Print- or web-based courses available year round. These self-paced courses
are not dependent upon a regular semester calendar. Students typically have
1 calendar year to complete studies.

GIL is the uniform library automation
system used throughout the University System of Georgia libraries.
- OLLC (Online
Library Learning Center)
OLLC offers a series of self-paced tutorials guiding the student through
the System's most notable library resources (GALILEO & GIL). Students
can learn how to organize searches, annotate online resources, locate articles
and books and services available to distance education students.
