| General Chemistry 2 (if not taken in Area D) | 4 hours |

* Students have the option in Area D in the science option for a lab science sequence from one of the following course sequences: General biology 1 & 2, General Chemistry 1 & 2, or Calculus Physics 1 & 2. Students will be advised to take General Chemistry 1 & 2 in Area D. If students take General Chemistry in Area D, they will take non-calculus Physics 1 & 2 in Area F and will have the option to take electives in the major. However,
- If students take General Biology 1 & 2 in Area D, students will take General Chemistry in Area F and non-calculus Physics 1 & 2 in the major.
- If students take calculus Physics 1 & 2 in Area D, calculus Physics will substitute for non-calculus Physics and the student will take General Chemistry 1 & 2 in Area F. The students will then have the option to take electives in the major.
** Two (2) semester hours of the three (3) semester hour general psychology course will be credited toward Area F in the core requirements while one (1) semester hour will be credited toward major requirements.
