Area F Guidelines: Information Technology

Eighteen (18) semester hours in lower division (1000- or 2000- level) courses related to Information Technology and/or prerequisite to higher level courses.

Programming Courses 6–8 hours
Introduction to Information Technology 2–3 hours
Mathematics
Finite Math, Discrete Math, Calculus, or Statistics
2–4 hours
Program Specific Electives
Selected from Information Technology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or an IT Application Area
3–8 hours
Total 18 hours
