Area F Guidelines: B.S. in Geography
Area F consists of 18 hours of lower-division (1000- and 2000-level) courses related to the Geography program of study and/or prerequisite to courses required in the major:
| (1) | Introduction to Geographical Analysis or Statistics | 3-4 hours |
| (2) | Calculus, Analytical Calculus and Geometry II (if not taken in Area D) |

| (3) | Computer Introduction/Applications | 3 hours |
| (4) | Two (2) laboratory science courses (in addition to Area D requirements) selected from the following: |

| Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Geography | 0-8 hours | |
| Total | 18 hours | |
(5) If areas (1), (2), and (3) above have already been satisfied, students may make up their 18 hour with other major-related courses in geography, statistics, mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, ecology, and physical anthropology.
