Area F Guidelines: B.A. in Geography

Area F consists of 18 hours of lower-division (1000- and 2000-level) courses related to the Geography program of study and/or prerequisite to courses required in the major:

(1) Introduction to Geographical Analysis
or Statistics (if not taken in Area D)
3 hours
(2) Foreign Language 3 hours
(3) Remaining hours (12 hours) selected from the following courses or areas of courses:
Comparative Politics Introduction to Women's Studies
Global Affairs Introduction to Afro-American Studies
Introduction to Sociology Physical Antropology
Contemporary Social Problems Microeconomics
Cultural Anthropology Macroeconomics
Foreign Language Logic
History Critical Thinking
Total 18 hours

(4) If areas (1) and (2) above have already been satisfied, students may make up their 18 hours with other courses from the list in (3) above.
