PROCEDURES
The System Office discourages the payment of extra compensation for teaching overloads. However, if special circumstances warrant extra compensation for teaching overloads, prior approval must be granted by the Chancellor's Office for such action. Payment of extra compensation for teaching overloads must be kept to an absolute minimum and must be justified by circumstances that clearly warrant such action.
