Information relevant to employment within the University System of Georgia can be found in section 203.03 and the entire section 800 of The Policy Manual and in volume 3A of the Business Procedures Manual for the University System. Only those policies and procedures particularly relevant to faculty and faculty positions have been duplicated in this manual, primarily as a convenience for academic affairs staff who may not have these other two publications readily available for consultation. In case of conflict, the Board Policy Manual is the authoritative source on policy matters and the Business Procedures Manual is the authoritative source for procedures related to employment and personnel matters.
