Upon successful completion of SOCI 1101, the student will:
- Demonstrate understanding of the sociological perspective
- Demonstrate understanding of basic sociological concepts
- Demonstrate understanding of the nature of social research
- Demonstrate understanding of the relationship between the individual and society
- Demonstrate the ability to engage in critical thinking about sociological issues
