Michelle McCormick, Chair, called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
The attendance sheet was circulated.

The minutes from the 2004 meeting were approved.
Old Business
Michelle McCormick announced that Criminology has been added to Area F as approved at an earlier meeting.
A report on conformity to Area F guidelines was circulated. Two courses being offered at USG institutions were approved for inclusion to Area F: Introduction to Human Services and Introduction to Criminal Justice. Lana Wachniak will write the rationale for the human services course and Julia Lucas will write the rationale for the criminal justice course. Michelle McCormick will contact those institutions that include courses in Area F that have not been approved by the committee.
The General Education outcomes for Introduction to Sociology were presented and approved.
New Business
General Education outcomes for Social Problems, Introduction to Social Work, and Introduction to Anthropology need to be written and approved by next year.
Michallene McDaniel was elected as Chair-Elect.
There was no further business and the meeting was adjourned.
