Ann agreed to chair the committee. The committee needed to make a recommendation about common course numbering to the Council on eneral Education by March 1, which made it impossible to do so before today's meeting. Ann requested input from members on our listserv and many ent suggestions to the subcommittee. John Kohler passed out a copy of the initial report of the committee. The Council on General Education suggested a needed change which is to have a separate set of numbers for the three semester sequences.
