Welcome to the Office of Academic Planning
The Office of Academic Planning is responsible for the integration of policy into academic planning. In addition to managing the strategic planning process in Academic Affairs, the Office of Academic Planning works to facilitate a system-wide emphasis on academic excellence, to integrate planning at the discipline level in support of USG goals, and to manage opportunities for faculty to connect in discipline specific committees. Academic Planning also collaborates with Facilities and Fiscal Affairs in the building, renovation and acquisition of buildings. Academic Planning works closely with the Regents Advisory Committees to gain guidance on USG policy creation and impact; to foster collaboration and partnerships; to leverage institutional expertise system–wide, and to offer leadership and support for academic planning activities as well as other projects and\or processes related to quality and educational effectiveness.
